it took 45 days for the cheques to be encashed for the EAD application when I sent it to the Lockbox facility. I beleive they receive the mails in one location and forward it to the appropriate center.

Both of those lenses aren't the fastest, so you're going to want a sensitivity of 1600 to get acceptable shutter speeds to minimize motion blur. If the light is changing a lot, you could use aperture priority, leaving the aperture at the widest it will go (or stopped down however much you can while maintaining reasonable shutter speed).
If the light is relatively constant (and when has that happened at a concert?), you might get more consistent results from determining the correct exposure by test shots and histogram, and then leaving things set until the light changes.
If you want help with autofocus, I'm afraid that I can't help, as my Nikon is a bit older than yours (D1). :(

TSC is not processing most EB3 I485. This is not supposed to be revealed publicly. It is wrong, so that's why I'm speaking out.

I have probably a strange case .In 2007 when all the dates were current my employer filed I-140 & I485 at the same time in EB2 . I have received AP and EAD both according to standard procedure.I have maintained my H1B status. Then after a month or so I have received I-140 rejection due to different job requirement and I am overqualified for the job so my attorney interfiled new I-140 under EB3 without worrying about I 485 thinking since I 140 is denied it should nullify I485 under EB2 . In the mean time USCIS sent me a new I-485 receipt # . I got my I 140 approved in another six months under EB3 and now I have two I 485 receipt numbers as well as two A numbers. Both of the receipts when I checked the status show that it is under initial review. Shall I call USCIS and get rid of the initial I485 which is under EBII . Anyone had this kind of experience??

At this time, we are trying get to all contract details(start to end client) and file new h1b petition (CAP Exempt) on premium processing and Lawyers are suggesting me to go for Counslar Processing.
I want to know What are options have to selected on I-129 for counslar processing (I am going through Lawyer However, I want to ensure that we are selecting right one)
On I-129 Form, Part 2,
Question 2: Basis for Classification (Check one):
a. New employment (including new employer filing H-1B extension).
b. Continuation of previously approved employment without change with the
same employer.
c. Change in previously approved employment
d. New concurrent employment.
e. Change of employer
f. Amended petition
Question 5: Requested Action (Check one):
a. Notify the office in Part 4 so the person(s) can obtain a visa or be admitted.
(NOTE: a petition is not required for an E-1 or E-2 visa).

Dallas-Fort Worth Immigration Lawyer Has Just Posted the Following:
Effective January 4, 2010, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (HHS/CDC) is removing HIV from the list of communicable diseases of public health significance and references to HIV from the scope of medical examinations for foreign nationals.
Until the rule goes into effect, non-citizens who are HIV-positive cannot be admitted into the U.S. unless the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grants a waiver. Once the rule goes into effect on January 4, 2010, HIV infection will no longer be defined as a communicable disease of public health significance, immigrant visa applicants who are required to undergo a medical screening exam will no longer be tested for HIV, a waiver for entry into the U.S. will no longer be necessary, and HIV-positive visa applicants will not be found ineligible for visas under Section 212(a)(1)(A)(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Although foreign nationals with HIV who apply for visas will no longer be ineligible under INA Section 212(a)(1)(A)(i), they still must overcome the public charge under INA Section 212(a)(4) by demonstrating to the consular officers that they will have the means of support in the U.S. and that they will not need to seek public financial assistance. Hello all,
I had my 140 reinstated in Feb-09 after it was denied back in 08 (filed motion to reopen). Last week i inquired about the status of my case since my visa category is current (VB 02/2003), I received a letter yesterday informing me that the case is out of the processing date, my 140 priority date is 12/2002. is this a mistake or my priority date has change to feb-09?
Can you please share your case details? what was the reason for 140 denial? After you filed MTR, how long it took for them to reinstate?

It's up to the employer if he wants to keep you as an employee and has the right to cancel your H1 if he likes to do so. Just because you left the country doesnt mean that your H1 becomes invalid, but again its up to the employer.

I believe so....if your LC is approved in August, then your PD is August. It is not qualified under July VB.

Question is: Can she able to enter US without EAD?

I will be going for H1B stamping in feb/March at Mumbai Consulate.
In 2001 my F1 visa got rejected 3 times because I showed that I have sister in USA.
My sister is in still in USA. Now while taking H1B appointment in form I have again to mention yes or no (for the Que do you have any relatives in USA)
What I should do? What will be the effect if I said No? Do you think, VO will ask me that your F1 got rejected because you had sister in USA? So now did she came back?
Please reply me ASAP.

But just make sure your parents carry a document that has details about your name, ssn, address, job, etc.
In case the office asks where they are going to stay, etc. They might know all this, but will be helpful to have on paper too.
Other than that, nothing is required, just their passports and visas.
